THE WESSEX RANGE
The Wessex range of garden buildings are constructed using specially selected baltic redwood & whitewood.
The unique interlocking method used to install the buildings gives a clear interior finish completely free
from framing. The range includes stylish summerhouses, garages and workshops. Whatever your
requirement the Wessex range will provide a building for you.
Wessex Specifications:
Log Thickness
28mm, 44mm or 70mm depending on which building you choose.
Foundation
Beams are supplied pressure treated.
Roofing
The purlins support 19mm planed tongue and groove boards. The size of the purlins varies according to
which building you select. Green mineral felt is supplied as standard with shingle roofing available as
an optional extra.
Doors & Windows
Joinery doors and windows are supplied fully glazed (doors glazed where applicable). External doors
are fitted with mortice locks as standard.
Treatment
Apart from the door joists and foundation beams, the Wessex buildings are supplied completely untreated.
It is strongly recommended that the buildings are treated within 14 days of installation, weather permitting.
Due to the wide range of timber treatments available from Atlantic, you will be able to customise the
colour scheme of your new building to your required taste.
Assembly
The Wessex buildings are supplied flat packed with easy to follow installation manuals. They can be
easily assembled and make for an ideal project for any diy enthusiast. Alternatively, we can arrange
to have your building installed for you.
Erection Fee
The erection fee for the Wessex range of buildings is 15% of the total cost, with a minimum charge
of £250 (Erection is not available outside the areas listed in the delivery section, see below.)
Delivery
Delivery is free in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambs, Beds, Bucks and Oxon.
Outside of these areas, delivery may be possible for a fee, please call for details.
We must have clear access to the desired point of erection. Please notify our sales team of any difficulties regarding access to the site and erection point.

Deposits
A 15% deposit is required on all of the Wessex garden buildings range. This is payable at the time of placing the order.
Base Preparation
It is essential with all Wessex garden buildings that they are erected onto a firm, completely level base. This will ensure that you do not encounter later problems with doors and
windows not fitting correctly. Please note that if your prepared base is not suitable there will be a re-visit charge of £50 once the base has been suitably corrected. Please contact us should you need any advice on base preparation.
Planning Permission
Please ensure that you seek any necessary Planning Permission before you place an order as Atlantic Country Superstore can take no responsibility
for Garden Buildings that are ordered or erected without gaining relevant Planning Permission first. The vast majority of buildings and installations
do not need any Planning Permission whatsoever but please check before ordering.
Order Cancellations
Any order placed with us for any Garden Building which is later cancelled is subject to a surcharge
of 10% of the total cost of the order.
